Protection of Forest from Forest Fire Workshops

Narmada Samagra Nyas, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, organized two workshops on Protection of Forest from Forest Fire in 2023:
  • 24–26 March in Amarkantak, Madhya Pradesh
  • 27–29 December in Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh
These workshops focused on raising awareness, sharing strategies, and Capacity building for forest prevention from forest fire and management, engaging stakeholders like forest committees, Panchayats, and local communities.

Ecosystem Services Workshops and Training Programs

Narmada Samagra, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, organized two Ecosystem Services Workshops to promote sustainable resource management:
  • 27–29 March 2023 in Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh
  • 27–29 February 2024 in Alirajpur, Madhya Pradesh
These training programs engaged state-level officials from various sectors, focusing on renewable energy, water conservation, waste management, and biodiversity. Through interactive sessions, participants explored practical approaches to integrating ecosystem services into governance, fostering sustainability and environmental harmony.

Workshops and Training on Medicinal Plants(Identification, Conservation, Cultivation and preparation of medicinal Herb Garden)

Narmada Samagra, in association with the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, organized two workshops on Medicinal Plants focusing on their Identification, conservation, cultivation and preparation of medicinal home garden
  • 2–4 September 2022 at WALMI, Bhopal
  • 9–11 October 2023 in Jabalpur
These workshops aimed to enhance knowledge and skills among participants, promoting sustainable practices and the preservation of valuable medicinal plant resources.

Workshop on Soil and Water Conservation in Tribal Areas

A workshop and training program on Soil and Water Conservation was held from 20–22 May 2024 in Bhopal. The program focused on raising awareness, emphasizing practical applications, and enhancing scientific understanding of soil and water conservation efforts.
