About Us

Narmada Samagra is a non-profit, voluntary organization founded in 2008, registered under the Madhya Pradesh Public Trust Act. Over the past 16 years, we have been at the forefront of river conservation, environmental advocacy, and community empowerment. We are proud recipients of the Madhya Pradesh Gaurav Samman in recognition of our efforts in Environment and Water Conservation.
Narmada Samagra works on two fronts: advocacy and awareness-building. We engage communities through ground-level initiatives, events, and forums to raise awareness and promote eco-friendly practices. Our efforts also extend to regional, national, and international platforms, where we educate and advocate for the river’s protection. We seek to bring together public and private partners—government bodies, NGOs, academic institutions, and industry professionals—to collaborate on safeguarding the river.

Our Vision and Mission

Narmada Samagra envisages the pristine Narmada River, free from pollution, flourishing and vibrant, supporting both its diverse ecosystems and the communities that depend on it.
