River Ambulance

Launched in 2013, the River Ambulance by Narmada Samagra delivers essential healthcare services to tribal and remote communities across 30 stops in the Sardar Sarovar backwaters of Madhya Pradesh. Supported through CSR initiatives, it spans over 200 km, providing treatment for common ailments, maternal care, and health awareness to 40-50 beneficiaries daily.

Rewa Seva Kendra in Kakrana, Sondwa Tehsil, District Alirajpur

This center was established to support various activities and Provide Basic Health care services through Dispensary and the River Ambulance program, aiming to improve the welfare of tribals and underprivileged communities in the area.

Community Radio Station “Radio Rewa 90.8 FM”

“Radio Rewa,” Narmada Samagra’s Community Radio Station in Jabalpur, focuses on river conservation, indigenous practices, biodiversity, and sustainable development around the Narmada River. It features programs on the environment, natural farming, and local culture while fostering community engagement, supporting local artists, and promoting regional languages.

Plantation in Amarkantak

Narmada Samagra, in partnership with the Forest Department, Van Samiti, and with financial support from a government company, carried out a plantation project in Amarkantak under a tripartite agreement, promoting environmental conservation and sustainability.

Sadaneera Narmada – A River Atlas

The ‘Sadaneera Narmada – A River Atlas’ aims to create a comprehensive map of the Narmada River, covering its ecology, culture, and surrounding aspects. Inspired by the 2016 “Sadanira – A River Atlas,” it involves documenting biodiversity, traditions, and resources while promoting conservation and sustainable develop

Preserving Bio Diversity - ‘Seed Bank’

In 2019, Narmada Samagra, with support from the MP State Biodiversity Board, established seed banks in Kakrana (Sondwa Tehsil, Alirajpur) and Aashukhedi (Maheshwar) to preserve local and indigenous seeds. These initiatives aim to document seed names, uses, and preservation techniques. Additionally, Biodiversity Management Committees were formed in nearly 50 villages of Sondwa Tehsil to support these efforts.

ReWA (Swajalam)

ReWA (Swajalam) is a low-cost water purification apparatus by Narmada Samagra, fostering self-reliance and sustainability in rural communities, especially along the Narmada River. It empowers students and villagers to address water challenges through innovation and practical solutions.

Water Testing Programme to contribute in Narmada River Health Index work.

In 2014, Narmada Samagra, with support from Merck India Ltd., launched a Water Testing Programme to educate and empower youth, particularly school children, by involving them in weekly water quality tests along the Narmada River.

Sanskar Kendras in Sardar Sarovar Reservoir Area

Narmada Samagra launched Sanskar Kendras in the Sardar Sarovar submerged area of MP and Maharashtra, providing primary education, sports, and other activities to 165 children, along with mid-day meals. These centers are now operated by formal education institutions.
